Bilsthorpe Flying High Academy welcomed families from its local community to witness its spectacular annual firework display

Children were entertained by fairground games, sparklers, 聽and families had a variety of food stalls to choose from. A favourite with children was the traditional candy floss stall with blue and pink clouds of candy on offer.
Samantha Leek is Headteacher at the school and she said, 鈥榃e want to thank everyone who attended our fireworks display and also to those who helped to organise and plan the event. It was a fabulous and exciting display, and a good time was had by all.鈥
Samantha says the event was supported by Magic & Miracle Fireworks, St John鈥檚 Ambulance, Andrew Pryce, Fosters Event Hire, Bilsthorpe Scouts, North Notts Community 1st聽Responders, ENVA, A1 Mobile, Native Crafts and Bilsthorpe鈥檚 St Margaret鈥檚 Church.
Also attending were retired NHS staff Mark, Cathy and Angie, who were raising money for children undergoing cancer treatment.
Samantha said, 鈥淭he support of our families and local community has once again been amazing and I want to thank all those who attended our sparkling event!鈥
