I believe in providing a teaching environment where students and faculty can exchange ideas in a respectful and nonjudgmental way. I take responsibility for providing relevant and accurate information to guide the learning of students and to provide opportunities for honing skills and receiving knowledge necessary to succeed in the Social Work profession. I believe in fostering critical thinking in students through assignments, discussions, assessments and activities related to the course content. I bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations for students to practice social work with honesty, integrity, and adherence to the NASW Code of Ethics.
